AOFM sells A$2.0B of Nov 2029 at 0.8691%

Published On 02 Jun 2020 , 11:05 AMThe AOFM has sold A$2.0 billion of 2.75% November 2029 government bond at a weighted average issue yield of 0.8691%, slightly lower than the previous record low of 0.8729% at October 2019 tender. The coverage ratio was 3.3175, significantly lower than record 5.21 times at a tender in May 2018. The lowest yield today was 0.8675% and the highest 0.8725%.
There were 37 bids in total, and only 16 were successful, and among them 8 got 100% allotment.
With this issue, this bond line has now increased to A$28.9 billion. The bond was first issued via syndication in January 2018 for A$9.6 billion at weighted average yield of 2.86%, and was last tendered on January at a weighted average yield of 1.2266%.
