AOFM sells May 2032 at 1.0098% vs 1.17% at last tender

Published On 17 Jun 2020 , 11:06 AMThe AOFM has sold A$2.0 billion of 1.25% May 2032 government bond at a weighted average issue yield of 1.0098%, lower than 1.17% at the previous tender but higher than the record low of 0.8185% achieved at the March 4 tender. The coverage ratio was 2.72 compared with record 4.09 times at April 17 tender. The lowest yield today was 1.0050% and the highest was 1.0125%.
There were 35 bids in total, and 20 were successful with 12 of them getting full allotment.
With this issue, this bond line has now increased to A$16.2 billion. The bond was first issued on January 22 for A$3.5 billion at weighted average yield of 1.2394%.
