Australia's Q3 CPI shows core inflation rising into RBA's target band for the first time since 2015 (and importantly for the first time in Governor Philip Lowe's term).

Core inflation (average of trimmed and weighted) was up 0.7% q/q and 2.1%, beating expectations for 0.5% and 1.8% rise.

Headline CPI rose 0.8% q/q and 3.0% y/y (meeting expectation for q/q and marginally below expectation for y/y)
