Highlights of Australia Q1 CPI published by the Australian Bureau of Statistics Wednesday:

--Headline CPI +0.3% Q/Q, +2.2% Y/Y, surprises to the upside
--For the first time since June 2018, and only the third time in 22 quarters headline CPI is within the RBA's 2% to 3% target range
--Trimmed Mean +1.8% Y/Y fastest pace in 5 quarters
--Weighted Median +1.6% Y/Y  fastest pace in 5 quarters
--Tradables CPI -0.2% Q/Q; +2.1% Y/Y
--Non-tradables CPI +0.6% Q/Q; +2.3% Y/Y
