By Sophia Rodrigues
Published On 10 Dec 2024 , 02:40 PMThe Reserve Bank of Australia left the cash rate unchanged at 4.35% but pivoted to a dovish stance by omitting the key message about remaining vigilant to upside risks. Also, missing in the statement was the line that it is not ruling anything in or out.
The RBA said it is gaining "some confidence" that inflationary pressures are declining in line with the November forecasts, though risks remain.
