RBA buying A$500M of 2025, 2026 bonds

Published On 21 Apr 2020 , 12:02 PMThe RBA is buying A$500 million of government bonds at auction today, maintaining purchases at the tapered level of yesterday. The buying will be in April 2025 to April 2025 bonds. There are two bonds falling within this maturity -- the 3.25% April 2025 bond and the 4.25% April 2026 bond.
The RBA last bought both these bonds at the April 17 auction where it purchased A$299 million of the 2025 bond at cut-off yield of 0.4325% and the A$240 million of the 2026 bond at cut-off yield of 0.5350%
