RBNZ Lifts OCR 25bps to 2.75%

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand lifted the Official Cash Rate by 25bps to 2.75%. The decision was reached by consensus.

The hike is a further step in gradually removing monetary stimulus, balancing the return of inflation to the 2% target midpoint while supporting growth and employment.
